I used to paint on hard plastic sheets, glasses, bottles, shot glasses, big fish bowls, etc. That was like 3 to 4 years ago. I managed to sell some of my works for engagement favors (250pc of painted shot glasses), deco articles, aquarium, etc. Then I stopped. Work was too overwhelming.
It's not hard. You need the paint (buy from Amcorp Mall-En. Zahir or One Utama Craft Haven), and oven to bake the glass (so the color stays) brushes, and a lot of imagination or just some good sketches.
:)
- wash and prepare the glass surface, get all colors ready, get your brushes, print a photo
- put the photo/sketch beneath the glass surface.
- outline the sketch/image using the outliner and leave to dry. You can wipe or peel off any mistakes.
- when outlines have dried off, start choosing your color and paint.
- let it dry and then bake your glass according to the instruction on the color bottle.
