Its a cupcake on pedestal, 3cm x 6cm, stamped on a card the size of a business card. Ink used were Versa Color Pink 33 and Cocoa 53.
This is the carved stamp. I'm thinking to sell this off cheap since it is carved on a soft eraser thats just lying around the corner of my supply box and I'm trying out a new design. You know, soft erasers are hard to carve; the craft knife just couldnt slide smoothly on the rubber and its hard to navigate through the carving lines. So, I dont think I'm going to carve any text in the empty space (pink cupcake casing) above. I may just carve some vertical fine lines there.
Yeap. Its carved on a Tweety eraser. I think I'm not going to mount it on wood either so I can post it via Pos Ekspres. But if you want a proper mounted customized cupcake stamp, just email me. My Ramblings:
I received many feedbacks on the price I'm charging for customized stamps. Some says I charge too cheap for the quality and speedy turnaround time that I deliver. Some are pleased and paid beforehand, which surprised me. Some feel I charge too expensive since a normal stamp (name and designation) can cost just a meagre RM10. Its ok. I'm not offended. I'm sure you would understand more if you go through the same process of producing the eraser stamp. Do you know tiny blog addresses are the most difficult to carve? It strains and affects our eyes and we have to stop and rest several times. The tinier, the harder. I love the challenge but.. I need to price it accordingly. So,.. I hope you'd understand :)
I'm not sure how many eraser carvers take custom order in Malaysia apart from mangosteenskin, gianigoh and me but I really would like to find that out so that we can create a carver community.
