Stamps :) I'm using my biggest rubber sheet for the 3 inches in diameter wedding stamp (which reminds me.. I've got to replenish my rubber stock from Japan). That apart, what a fun rendition of a couple professing their commitment :) The design of the wedding stamp is one of my customer's. The white mounted stamp on the right is done. I may be posting it later in the weekend along with 2 other stamps.
Most of my customers rightfully asked about the delivery timeframe. I must say, usually it takes within 2 weeks if it doesnt require excessive designing where I need to crack my head and dream beyond the normalcy :). There were also situations where I exceed the 2 weeks timeframe due to festive season, unplanned business trip or workshop (yes, I work fulltime in an office) and other adhoc activities.
Some of my customers received a lovely surprise when they get their stamps within 3 days. This usually happens when; 1. Payment is made in full, 2. It involves a simple image or text, 3. I'm already in the midst of completing other stamps, 4. Delivery address and phone number is provided upfront. All that said, my standard delivery timeline is still 2 weeks. :)
When do I carve? When do I saw and sand the wood mounting? When do I make the box and pack the stamps?
During weekends or when I get back from work at night, after making and having dinner, after putting my house in order :)
