Careful when washing your stamps please. After inking the stamp red, I washed the stamp with a bit of handsoap and brushed away all the excess and dirt using my brush. I think that was a big mistake. See in photo number 2. The lines in the stamp image has started to fray (or is it because of the eraser I used? too soft?). I inked it in black to see whether I have totally botched the stamp. Thankfully the black stamped image in photo number 3 looks ok. Sigh...
So, next time, no more brushes. I'm gonna use the lint remover instead.
I've listed down the eraser carvers in a section below. Their work is awesome, very neat, and the ridges of the carvings are very smooth and steady ( I have yet to fully master that art of carving outwards, sometimes I forget). They take orders too! I'm still wondering how they managed to carve letterings very neatly though.. I cant really ascertain what is the size of the font they carved. Most only use the craft knife and their u-gouge.
I'm going to carve another lorry stamp. email me if you are interested to purchase amateur work ;)
TQ
2 unmounted lorry stamps on the roll!
